Baby D - 6 Months old!

Baby D's mom contacted me asking if I was interested in taking some pictures of her handsome little 6 month old. Of course I said yes! This little guy is going to be a heart breaker. Just look at those eyes! His older siblings were more than willing to join him for a few pictures as well. Thanks Nerissa and Darryl for letting me intrude on your adorable little family for the evening!

D&G Terpsma-- Blessed with 45 years!

This past weekend I was honored to be able to capture some memories through out my Uncle and Aunt's 45th wedding anniversary. I would like to say that every single member of this family is EXTREMELY photogenic, and very easy to work with. It didn't take any prompting or rearranging, and everyone had their best smiles for me. (Besides Jonas and Samuel in the picture with the grandparents, but that was a memory of its own) 

I hope everyone is happy with these pictures, and thank you for letting me celebrate the occasion with you! (and for letting me eat some of the delicious food) 

I think Sam and Jonas decided they were both done with pictures for the day.

Baby A --First newborn photo shoot!

Well, here it is! I stepped out of my comfort zone and did my first newborn photo shoot. Am I entirely happy with all the results? mmm... half and half. I see now all the things I should have done different, but its just a little too late. But, thanks SO much to Deana for trusting me with her beautiful baby girl. This little princess already had pictures done that afternoon, and Deana let me come and snap a couple extra just for practice. Thanks again!

Jissink Anniversary and extended family photoshoot

I had the opportunity to take pictures of the Jissink extended family. Opa and Oma Jissink were celebrating their 50th anniversary! (Wow!) 

Cathy Peters called me a few days before the anniversary was supposed to happen asking if I could take some pictures, because their real photographer couldn't make it due to sick children. Of course I agreed, though I've never attempted a shoot with such a large group. But I believe it turned out quite alright!
